THE META-PESANTREN: Policies and Toward Systemic Administrative Tools for Exelence Islamic Education

After the Pesantren laws conducted to be implement. All kinds of pesantren that emerged and developed in Indonesia should be adapt the rules. Yet, there are many challenges that must be understood by pesantren to build and appropiately continued the educational system. This article, will describe the managerial changes that occurred as a result of changes in the rules. How pesantren must adapt, through adaptive policies. Also, how is the adjustment strategy that can be carried out by Islamic schools as part of superior Islamic education in Indonesia. This article will be approached with a case study study approach, through the Soft System Methodology method. Through this approach, the anthropological condition of pesantren today, the stages of adjustment, and the form of policy that will be taken, become the main position in compiling the cycle of writing this article. This article concludes that; First, Islamic boarding schools as educational institutions are used to dealing with changes in regulations made by the government. Through its adaptive character, the pesantren is still able to survive to this day. Second, the Pesantren Law provides a wider space for the role of pesantren and the recognition of graduates in the system and model of education that is developed. Third, the creation of a pesantren's unique identity and reasoning will be of added value for the development of the pesantren education model in the future.
