Abstract

The problems in this research are: 1. How is Rumkar media used in an effort to overcome children's anxiety when separated from their parents at PAUD Tarbiyatul Shibyan Klanggri Sidokerto Sidoarjo? 2. What are the obstacles to using Rumkar media to overcome children's anxiety when separating from their parents? 3. What are the solutions for using Rumkar media to overcome children's anxiety when separating from parents at PAUD Tarbiyatul Shibyan Klanggri Sidokerto Sidoarjo. The data collection instruments in this research used observation techniques, documentation as primary data collection instruments and interviews as secondary data collection instruments. Meanwhile, data analysis uses qualitative descriptive analysis, which consists of three interacting analysis flows, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the use of rumkar learning media in a structured and programmed manner has had a positive impact on children's anxiety at PAUD Tarbiyatus Shibyan. The potential is a measurable decrease in anxiety levels from before to after the implementation of rumkar media, indicated by changes in children's behavior such as increased involvement in activities, reduced anxiety symptoms, and increased adaptation when separated from their parents. The results of this study also support and provide valuable insight into the effectiveness of this specific method in dealing with children's anxiety in the preschool environment. Such findings can provide a basis for educational institutions and practitioners in using rumkar media or similar methods as a useful approach to help children deal with anxiety when separated from parents.
