Abstract

Research specifically examining the implementation of the One Day One Book program in early childhood education (PAUD) is still very limited. RA Al-Falah has an innovative program that involves parents, namely One Day One Book. This study aims to conduct an in-depth case study on the implementation of the One Day One Book program at RA AL-FALAH Tuban. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. The results of the study show that this program has a significant impact on improving children's literacy skills. Positive changes in children include an increased interest in reading, better understanding of book content, vocabulary development, positive behavior changes, and children becoming more active and excited about reading. The school also developed various strategies to address challenges, such as conducting socialization for parents, maintaining regular communication, organizing video competitions where parents read storybooks to their children, and giving appreciation to parents. The One Day One Book program can be a new model in developing children's literacy, which not only relies on teachers in school but also actively involves the role of parents.
