This study aims to improve children's social-emotional skills, specifically in the habit of saying "excuse me" (permisi), in Group B at RA Islam Plus Nafia. The core issue addressed is the low level of awareness among children regarding polite behavior when interacting with teachers and peers, indicating a lack of understanding of daily etiquette. The proposed approach in this study is the implementation of habituation and modeling strategies. The research methodology employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) following the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted over two cycles with 16 subjects aged 5–6 years. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The main findings indicate that the consistent and engaging application of these strategies significantly enhanced children's social-emotional abilities, particularly in aspects of politeness, empathy, and respect for others. The conclusion emphasizes that habituation and modeling, where teachers serve as primary role models, are highly effective in shaping positive character and ethics in early childhood.
