Pengaruh Media Kartu Angka Terhadap Kemampuan Membilang Anak Usia Dini

This study aims to determine the effect of using number card media on the ability to count numbers from 1 to 10 in children aged 5–6 years at RA Islam Plus Nafia. The background of this study is the low level of children’s early numeracy skills, which is caused by the lack of varied learning media that are interesting and appropriate to the developmental stages of children. The research method employed is quantitative with a pre-experimental design using a one-group pretest–posttest model. Data were analyzed using the non-parametric Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test to compare pretest and posttest scores. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant difference in the ability to count numbers from 1 to 10 in children aged 5–6 years after the use of number card media. Therefore, number card media can be used as an effective alternative in teaching numeracy in early childhood education.
