Abstract

One learning method that involves the role of students is the cooperative learning method. The cooperative learning method focuses more on group learning. This learning method trains students to discover or build understanding of the material. Role Playing learning method is a fun learning method where students can learn and play. In this method students will try to understand each material taught by the teacher by playing roles in groups.  The aim of this research is in accordance with the problem formulation, namely: How to apply the Role Playing method to the Aqidah Akhlak subject at SMA Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik, What are the learning outcomes of class XII students after applying the Role Playing method to the subject Aqidah Akhlak at SMA Al- Azhar Menganti Gresik, Is there an influence of the Role Playing method on improving the learning outcomes of class XII in the subject of Aqidah Morals. To obtain the data needed, researchers used several data collections, namely: Questionnaires and Tests. The results of the research concluded that the application of the Role Playing Method (X) obtained a Good category (4.4). The learning results resulted in completeness reaching 100% and exceeding the classical requirements, namely 85%, while the hypothesis calculation obtained a calculated t value of 2,907 and a Sig value. of 0.000. So, because the calculated t value > t table is 2.907 > 2.024 and the Sig. namely 0.000 < 0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that partially there is an influence between the application of the Role Playing Method (X) and Learning Outcomes (Y). So in this research it can be said that the application of the Role Playing Method (X) has an effect on Learning Outcomes (Y).
