FATAWA: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing scholarly knowledge and innovative practices in the field of Islamic Religious Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam/PAI). The journal aims to serve as a leading academic platform for disseminating high-quality empirical, theoretical, conceptual, and practice-based research that contributes to the development of Islamic education across formal, non-formal, and informal educational settings, including pesantren, madrasahs, schools, universities, and community-based educational institutions. FATAWA promotes interdisciplinary perspectives that strengthen the relevance of PAI in responding to contemporary educational, social, cultural, ethical, and global challenges while maintaining its foundation in the Qur'an, Sunnah, and the rich intellectual tradition of Islam. The journal encourages research that supports transformative learning, character formation, religious moderation, educational innovation, and sustainable development within diverse Islamic educational contexts.

Scope

The journal welcomes original research articles, systematic literature reviews, conceptual papers, case studies, and design-based research that contribute to the advancement of Islamic Religious Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam). The scope includes, but is not limited to:
