Peer Reviewers

All manuscripts submitted to FATAWA: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam must align with the journal's Aim and Scope and comply with the Author Guidelines. Submitted manuscripts should demonstrate scientific originality, methodological rigor, and a significant contribution to the advancement of Islamic Religious Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam/PAI) across diverse educational contexts, including schools, madrasahs, pesantren, higher education institutions, and community-based Islamic education. Manuscripts may present empirical research, theoretical analyses, conceptual discussions, systematic literature reviews, or educational innovations relevant to the field of Islamic Religious Education. All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal. Prior to the review process, every manuscript is screened using plagiarism detection software to ensure academic integrity and compliance with international publication ethics.

Each manuscript that passes the initial editorial screening will undergo a double-blind peer-review process conducted by at least two independent expert reviewers with relevant expertise in Islamic Religious Education and related disciplines. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on their originality, theoretical contribution, methodological quality, data analysis, academic significance, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the journal's focus and scope. Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewers' comments and recommendations. The review process is carried out objectively, confidentially, fairly, and in accordance with internationally recognized standards of scholarly publishing.

The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection rests with the Editor-in-Chief, based on the recommendations of the reviewers and the editorial board. Accepted manuscripts are scheduled for publication according to editorial priorities, thematic relevance, and the successful completion of the editorial process. FATAWA: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam is committed to maintaining a transparent, rigorous, ethical, and timely peer-review process that supports the dissemination of high-quality scholarship and promotes the continuous advancement of Islamic Religious Education at the local, national, and international levels.
