Plagiarism Check

FATAWA: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. All manuscripts submitted to the journal are subject to plagiarism screening before entering the peer-review process.

The editorial office uses reliable plagiarism detection software, including Turnitin, to examine the originality of every submission. Manuscripts are expected to present original scholarly work with proper citation and referencing practices. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all sources are appropriately acknowledged and that their manuscripts do not contain plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, or any other form of academic misconduct.

As a general policy, the journal expects manuscripts to have a similarity index of no more than 20% (excluding references, quotations, and bibliographic materials). Manuscripts exceeding this threshold or containing evidence of unethical publication practices may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected without proceeding to peer review.

The editorial team follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure a fair, transparent, and ethical publication process. All plagiarism screening results are evaluated carefully by the editors, and the final decision regarding manuscript suitability rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
