This study examines the strengthening of religious-pluralistic character through the Islamization of science in curriculum development at MI Alam Luqman Al-Hakim, Batu City. It focuses on how the Islamization of science is implemented and how it contributes to students' religious-pluralistic character formation. A qualitative case study was conducted at MI Alam Luqman Al-Hakim, East Java, Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal, vice principal for curriculum, and a classroom teacher, supported by observations and document analysis. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, while credibility was ensured through source triangulation and member checking. The findings reveal that the Islamization of science is implemented through the integration of the national curriculum with Pendidikan Islam Berbasis Tauhid (PIBT), embedding tawhid values across all subjects. Religious-pluralistic character is strengthened through systematic habituation of manners, daily motivation, life-skill activities, worship practices, and an inclusive school culture accommodating diverse Islamic organizational backgrounds without promoting a single ideological identity. This study proposes the concept of “religious-pluralistic character,” demonstrating that strong religiosity and pluralistic openness can be cultivated simultaneously through intentional curriculum design. The findings provide a contextual institutional model for strengthening character education in Islamic primary schools and offer practical insights for curriculum development that integrates religious values with inclusive educational practices.
