Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Kitab Kuning Melalui Metode Al Miftah Lil Ulum Pada Santri Pondok Pesantren Mambaul Ulum

Islamic boarding school is a special educational institution. One of its special characteristics is the kitab. AlMiftah Lil Ulum is a fast method to be able to read the book properly and correctly, in it contains the rules of Nahwu and Shorof for the basic level which consists of a summary of the books of Jurumiyah, Imrity and Alfiyah. This study aims to describe the efforts made by PP Mambaul Ulum administrators to improve the ability to read books for their students. The method used in this study is a type of qualitative research with qualitative descriptive analysis techniques, where the researcher describes the data systematically about the role of the Al-Miftah Lil Ulum method in improving the ability to read the yellow book in PP Mambaul Ulum students. Sources of data used by researchers came from the results of interviews, observation and decomentation. The results showed that one of the methods used by the administrators of the Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Sukowono Jember to improve the reading ability of the students was to use the almiftah lil ulum method. Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School chose almiftah lil ulum because this method is more practical and more teachers can teach using the almiftah lil ulum method.
