Author Guidelines

General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements for Journal articles PUDAK: Local Wisdom Community Journal are as follows:

  1. Written in Indonesian or English
  2. The length of the submitted manuscript is no more than 20 pages
  3. Use zotero or mendeley reference management by selecting APA style.
  4. Make sure your manuscript is prepared using Templates (Download)

Structure of The Manuscript

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:

  1. TITLE Article title is a maximum of 15 words, without acronyms or abbreviations. The title must be written briefly and clearly, and must accurately indicate the problem to be raised, do not provide a wide space for interpretation, and do not contain abbreviations that are not commonly used. J udul atikel written in Times new roman font size 14, center, bold, latin with italics, Sentence case
  2. THE AUTHOR NAME. The author's name is written in order with the provision of normal printing, without title, 12pt. followed by the bottom written Author's Institution, and the address of the institution with a size of 11pt
  3. Abstracts are made a maximum of 300 words, covering the purpose, method, results, and impact of the service. Abstracts should not contain tables/figures, no need to include citations. Avoid abbreviations to a minimum. (font: Times New Roman 10, 1 space, normal print, right and left flat position, Latin with italics)
  4. Keywords : keywords are written in three to five keywords with Times New Roman font size 10
  5.  INTRODUCTION. The manuscript is written in Indonesian with Times New Roman letters, 12, 1 (one) column, density 1.5 spaces, on A4 paper. The number of paragraphs is not limited but must include the background (problem) and the purpose of the service.
  6.  METHOD. Written in Indonesian with Times New Roman letters, 12, 1 (one) column, density 1.5 spaces, on A4 paper. Include the methods or techniques used, and the special tools needed in the service,. The method explains the stages or steps in implementing the solution to overcome the problem, the implementation date (Minimum 2 days), the number of students (if any) and the partners involved.
  7. RESULTS, DISCUSSIONS, AND IMPACTS. In this section, the author is obliged to describe separately into three parts, namely: Service Results: contains data exposure from the results of the implementation of service activities that have been carried out by submitting the service method used. Discussion: contains a description of the comparison of the results of the service that has been carried out from the executor with other servants. Impact: contains partner descriptions before the service program and after the service program.
  8. Table Writing. The writing of the table must follow the form as in the article template
  9. Drawing / Graphic Writing, Drawing / Graphic Writing must follow the form as in the article template
  10.  CONCLUSION. The manuscript is written in Indonesian with Times New Roman letters, 12, 1 (one) column, density 1.5 spaces, on A4 paper. The conclusion is made one paragraph, without citation. Conclusion answering the purpose of service.
  11. THANK YOU. If deemed necessary, for example funders, technicians, and discussion partners, it can be written in this section.
  12. BIBLIOGRAPHY. The bibliography is prioritized for the last 10 years. Bibliography format: to make it easier to write, you can use software such as zotero, or delay with APA Style.

Article Selection and Publication Process

1. Upon receipt of the article submission, the Editor will send a confirmation email to the author of the correspondence within one to two weeks. If you don't receive this confirmation, your post/email may be missed.

2. Peer Review. We use a single blind system for peer surveys; The identities of the reviewer and the author remain anonymous. Articles will be peer-reviewed by two to three reviewers. The review process can take 1 month.

3. Notification of the results of the review will be sent via email.

4. The author will revise the article based on feedback and suggestions from reviewers. Once the article is accepted, the author will pay the publication fee to the journal.

5. After publication, the author of the correspondence will receive an email notification regarding the e-journal in PDF format which is available on the journal's web page, and can be downloaded free of charge.

6. The average time takes about 3 months from delivery to publication.
