Call for Papers – Volume 5, Issue 2 (October 2026)
The Journal of Social Science and Economics (JOSSE) invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to submit original manuscripts for Volume 5, Issue 2 (October 2026) under the theme "Education, Economy, and Social Transformation in the Global South: Contextual Perspectives, Institutional Innovation, and Sustainable Development."
This issue welcomes theoretically grounded and empirically rich studies that examine the dynamic relationships between education, economic development, and social transformation across the Global South. We particularly encourage qualitative, historical-comparative, ethnographic, case study, and mixed-methods research that explores educational inequality, labor and skill formation, institutional change, local knowledge systems, digital transformation, community resilience, and inclusive development. Contributions offering critical, interdisciplinary, and policy-relevant perspectives that advance understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing societies in developing and emerging economies are especially encouraged.
